Satyendra is a co-founding partner at Consortia Legal and heads the insurance, employment, and education practice areas at Consortia Legal.

As a regulatory insurance specialist, Satyendra regularly advises global and Indian insurers, reinsurers, and intermediaries on a range of non-contentious matters. Apart from assisting leading international players in their India foray which includes regulatory licensing, advice on joint ventures and other related regulatory issues, he has extensively worked with stakeholders in bancassurance, new product/policy development and business arrangements inter se regulated and other entities in the insurance sector.

Consortia Legal has worked with several Indian promoters looking at entering into insurance distribution and insurance manufacturing by undertaking regulated/licensed business activity.

Satyendra has been working on matters related to GIFT IFSC, India's first operational IFSC, since it formally commenced operations in 2015.

He had extensively worked with new age companies/start-ups in the fintech and insurtech on an array of regulatory, legal and strategic matters.

Satyendra is recognized for thought leadership in the insurance and reinsurance industry and is actively associated with many novel initiatives that are expanding the frontiers of insurance sector.

He works closely with industry organisations on advocacy and policy matters pertaining to insurance law and regulation.

Satyendra is an alumnus of London School of Economics and Political Science. Before taking up legal practice, Satyendra worked as a business journalist for seven years in India. He extensively contributes to international journals and leading business ad law publications.
